I've been hoping to find a way to replicate the sound and feel of a good studio recording on my live gigs. With the Xlson mic I've finally been able to do that. It captures not only the rich beauty of the full acoustic tone, but also the natural attack-decay envelope of the instrument. It sounds so good that 'the gear disappears' and it's just me and my bass (only louder).
