The Next-Level Microphone
System For The Un-Compromising Musician
About the New Xlson Microphone System
It is with greatest pleasure that we announce that the new Xlson Microphone System has now become a reality. Renowned Swedish jazz bassist, sound engineer and inventor Peter Axelsson has done it again.
After the success with the Chuck Israels signature microphone, which in many ways embodies the meaning of the YBOL (your bass, only louder) concept, Peter set out to build an even more versatile microphone.
The idea was to build on all the strengths of its predecessor – while also addressing the constructive feedback received from some of its users.
The outcome is spectacular. We believe this microphone belongs in every bass player’s toolbox, as well as at every live venue or recording studio that work with jazz (or other acoustic music where the upright bass is used).
We can’t wait to hear what you think!
Hear it live
This video demonstrates how the Xlson microphone system handles a live big band session. You will hear both the full band, as well as the Xlson mic only.
Enjoy!
